2022 Tour de Suisse - STAGE 5 Preview & Predictions Stage 4 Review Daryl Impey took a magnificent win from a reduced sprint in front of Michael Matthews. Soren Kragh Andersen completed the podium. Alberto Bettiol could not do better than 4th after his team put in a big effort in the last climb. Stage 5 Preview This 193.3 km course stage is well designed for a break-away win unless the likes of Matthews, Sagan and Kristoff have other thoughts and would want to seize their last chance of winning. The last remaining races are two mighty mountain stage and the closing time-trial. Quinn Simmons will again try to set the break-away to get those mountain points. this time, the break-away might be larger with stronger riders as the chance for a break-away stage win is more than possible. Tour de Suisse 2022 - Part 2: Riders to Follow and Overall Predictions

Tour de Suisse 2022 - Part 2 These eight stages will mostly be about punchers and climbers for this year, in which we only have one time trial but very important one.  Stage Winners So we will firstly talk about the puncheurs and possible stage winners. There are no less than five stages that could go to them. UAE Team Emirates' trio  Diego Ulissi , Alessandro Covi and Marc Hirschi represent  everything  about puncheurs.  Beno ît  Cosnefroy and Quentin Pacher are French riders who have been impressing for some years now with a punchy finish and recently, in classic race as well.  Clément Champoussin ,  although very unpredictable, he can also be included among The French hopes.  A rider that should be taken seriously is Patrick Bevin  who is very good sprinter and processes time trial abilities. He can even climb decently as seen recently in the Tour of Turkey.  Andreas Kron and Alexander Kamp are fast finishers that would not mind a steep gradient and should be in the mix fo

Tour de Suisse 2022 - Part 1: Parcours

Tour de Suisse 2022 Tour de Suisse will be the penultimate race before the highly anticipated Tour de France. Coinciding with Critérium du Dauphiné, Tour de Suisse will run from June 12 to June 19 i.e. eight stages. The first five stages are predominantly hilly, and the last three stages will probably dictate the general classification. The previous winners of Tour de Suisse were Richie Porte in 2018, Egan Bernal in 2019 and Richard Carapaz in 2021. Tour de Suisse had been cancelled for the year 2020 . Overall Map The first thing we notice when we have a general look of the tour de Suisse is that Julien Alaphilippe will be missed, but Remco Evenepoel is here! With just one time trial which will close the race, this year’s race will be more packed with action and elevation. Stage 1 The riders will have to undertake a circuit 4 times instead of the traditional prologue. It is hard to see a bunch sprint here. Only puncheurs will survive.   Stage 2 Considering the rather flat opening
